The person behind the practice

Grounded expertise. Deep respect for your pace.

At Sacred Balance Wellness Center, Renee supports adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Her style is attentive and human: clear enough to be useful, spacious enough for the parts of your experience that take time to name.

Renee earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University’s CACREP-accredited program. She is a National Certified Counselor and an Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia, practicing within Georgia’s required direction and supervision framework.

As a therapeutic movement practitioner, she may also integrate dance/movement-informed practices, yoga-based awareness, mindfulness, somatic movement, and meditation. Every body-based practice is optional and adapted to the individual.

Our approach

Four commitments shape the work.

01

Clinical grounding

Evidence-based counseling, ethical practice, and thoughtful goals create the foundation.

02

Whole-person care

Thoughts, emotions, relationships, physical experience, culture, and meaning all matter.

03

Choice and consent

You remain in control of your pace. Movement and somatic practices are always invitational.

04

Real-life integration

The work connects back to daily decisions, relationships, boundaries, and moments of stress.
